The Perfect Boho and Rustic Wedding in the South of France

In the countryside, by a small town, in the South of France, seems to create weddings made of rustic and boho dreams. This outdoor wedding took place at the Domaine du Viala  in France. F&J actually came all the way from Brooklyn to enjoy the perfect small wedding in this area, where F spent her holidays with her parents during her childhood. The plants in the area gave a very easy-going and relaxing feeling to the entire day. Close to the Canal du Midi and a historic village Minerve is nearby the Mediterranean Sea, the Domaine du Viala is the ideal spot for sightseeing, small gatherings, and for us, photography, unreal !

As you will see, this area is very much photogenic; from the rustic houses, to the gates, bridges, the canyons, yes very impressive and all the scenery, made for perfect wedding & couple photos. The venue is a fully restored old fortified farm, with an open garden, small trees, ivy up old walls, and is an escape to a small rustic haven. The small town nearby has the odd familiarity of childhood memories; going back to traditional and simple ways. The nature of all of the photos of this specific wedding were very simplistic and easy-going.

For the ceremony, the couple choose a old chapel nearby that is perfect for a very small and intimate ceremony. The building is made of very old bricks, and the morning lighting makes for a very vintage feeling. All of the windows have no glass, so the lighting is very natural – very comforting and wonderful for optimal lighting in photos. Almost guaranteed to have great photos with lighting like that. To have the ceremony, you will have to bring someone along, but it is well worth it for the experience. The small church makes for a very emotional and private feeling ceremony.

Wedding at the Domaine du Viala

The rustic home’s garden as the gorgeous outdoor venue, native wildflowers as centerpieces, cocktail hour in the center of a green vineyard – the perfect place to make your vows of eternal love, taking the less traveled road together seems a little easier here. Sharing fresh wine from the vineyard, enjoying the few, necessary family and friends, putting together the most stress-free and fun environment possible for this new beginning. Brides and grooms both deserve to have it as the most remembered day of their lives, the beginning of their lives together, the start of a beautiful family, whether it stays two or grows to ten.

At night, when the stars are all out, and everyone is gathered together for dinner under the stars before the night ends, is the perfect time for a toast. Enjoying the quiet, sounds of nature, and the laughter of friends, is a lucky thing to have and is easy to gain at this cute little villa.
