Romantic Wedding at Les Roches Rouges

When it comes time for your bridal shoot, take the opportunity to pick a fabulous occasion and do several of your favorite looks in addition to your gown!

We shot this inspirational editorial in the South of France. We chose a stunning hotel that opened last year as the perfect location. It’s the first and editorial had been shot there. I am sure it won’t be the last since it is a very special place, with fabulous modern furniture and design. It is nearby the place where Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand used to have their little summer cabin, Le Cabanon.

The hotel really fit with its surroundings, serving local food and using raw, honest materials. It exemplifies a new trend in luxury hotels in France and in the Mediterranean area. We have found that more and more couples want to have this kind of backdrop for their wedding. We tried to create an unique look – maybe not as glamorous and bling as a classic French Riviera look, but more of a contemporary Mediterranean. We love the that it is representative of the huge fashion scene developing in the south of France around designers (like Jacquemus). Check back tomorrow for the bridal look we created.

L’endroit que l’on choisit pour se marier peut être lié à sa région d’origine, un souvenir de couple, un endroit familial. Cet hotel , parfaitement intégré à son environnement, les pieds dans l’eau, face à la Méditérannée, peut aisément devenir l’endroit idéal pour un mariage en toute intimité. Et c’est un cadre rare dans la région, à la fois la proximité de la mer, et une dimension moderniste dans le design et l’architecture qui n’est pas sans rappeler le célèbre cabanon d’été de Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. Pour ce shooting collaboratif nous avons travaillé avec l’agence Atelier Blanc et Blanc Creme basé toutes deux à Marseille et Montpellier, nous avons crée ce look contemporain et intemporelle, mais aussi très méditérannéen dans la forme.
